Detail Itinerary

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350 m) and Transfer to hotelUpon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, our representative from Himkala Adventure greets you cordially and transfers to hotel at Thamel. Thamel is just 5 km west from airport. After doing check in hotel, you could explore Thamel, the touristic market if you are not tired. Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 02Sightseeing at World Heritage sites in Kathmandu then transfer to Nagarkot (2,175 m) There are four world Heritage sites listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. After breakfast, we begin our day tour around 9 am. We drive to Swoyambhunath, the monkey temple at first. There are 5 puras representing 5 elements from the nature like Shantipura, Agnipura, Nagapura, Bashupura and the Bayupura. Apart from this, Pratappura, and Anantapura were built by King Pratap Malla in 1655. The Mahachaitya (Great Stupa) sits on a rock forming the hillock. The history of the hillock as a religious site goes back to early Lichhavi time. There is a Harati Mata Temple on the west side, dedicated to goddess Harati for Buddhists and Shitala for Hindus. This two tiered temple attracts worshippers for the protection of children against diseases. On the top of 365 steps, there is a gilt Bajra represents the Chandahasa of Manjushri. It is also the symbolic representation of Aksobhya. After this, we drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square, made up of two sub-areas. The outer complex is renowned for numerous interesting temples as Kumari Ghar, Kasthamandap, Shiv-Parvati Temple, Jagannath Temple Big bell etc. Some of them have been badly damaged by the earthquake 2015 but they are under reconstruction. Besides the magnificent temples and shrines, other interesting aspects are various festivals, cultural activities and traditions people are following from centuries, which are presented at the Durbar Square. The great Boudhanath Stupa stands 6 km North East from center of the Kathmandu valley.It is the principal center of Himalayan Buddhist worship and studies in the Kathmandu valley. There are many stories and legends concerning the origin and history of the great stupa. There are number of monasteries around. The Ajima Temple is in the entrance of the Stupa, which is known as the protector and wish fulfilling goddess. The festivals like Mamla Jatra, Chechyu Puja, Lhosar, Temal Jatra, Buddha Jayanti, Ropai Jatra are celebrated at Boudha Stupa The fourth place we visit today is Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest temples of the world revered and worshipped both by Hindus and Buddhists. It has set shining example of religious harmony. Pashupatinath is the lord Shiva, the Lord of entire living beings and the source of eternal bliss and peace.The precincts of the temple of Pashupatinath and its surrounding areas, spreading over 264 hectares of land dotted with ancient temples, archaeologically and architecturally important monuments, vihars, monasteries, stupas, hermitages, ghats, patis, pauwas etc. After exploring Pashupati area, we head towards Nagarkot which is about one and half hours drive from there. Day 03Sightseeing of Bhaktapur & drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at hotel Sunrise from Nagarkot would be great in clear morning. We walk around Nagarkot, visit the nearby villages, take breakfast, and then descend down to Bhaktapur for the sightseeing.Bhaktapur is a living Heritage or Living museum displaying the vibrant depth of Newari culture. Great festivals of local Newars, their life style, rituals, and traditional dance groups are giving life to the intangible heritage of the city. There are four squares which we visit today. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the main Square is the blending of stone art, metal art, wood carving, and terracotta art and architectural show pieces. Taumadhi Square offers the best example of engineering and architecture of multi roofed temples and rectangular temples. The Nyatpola Temple, Bhairavnath Temple, Tilmadhav Temple are the major monuments of the square. The other one is the pottery square, where the porters are found still working with their traditional wooden wheels for giving various shape and size to clay. Finally we visit Dattatraya Square and drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 04Fly/drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, walk around Lakeside. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara After breakfast, we fly/drive to Pokhara. It is 30 minutes scenic flight viewing mountain range. If not, we drive by the Prithivi Highway, about 200 km, takes 5-6 hours by car. After check in hotel, you could walk on the bank of Phewa Lake and enjoy the evening atmosphere in the lakeside. Overnight in Pokhara

Day 05Early wake up and go to Sarangkot. After breakfast Pokhara city tour - boating.Overnight in Pokhara We wake up early in the morning and drive to Sarangkot from where we can view Fishtail Mountain face to face. The other mountains like Dhaulagiri in he west, Annapurna massif, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu can be seen with their dazzling beauty. The Pokhara Valley view, the hydropower plant, the Seti River flowing making gorge, the Phewa Lake and the little Island in the middle of the Lake from the top of Sarangkot seem amazing. Besides this the sun rise, Ultra Light flight over the valley and paragliding draw our attention.After breakfast, we do city tour around Pokhara like Bindawasini Temple, Seti River Gorge, Davi’s Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Tibetan Refugee Camp and drive back to the Lake side. We can do boating in the Phewa Lake, visit Tal Barahi Temple in the little Island and return back to Hotel. Overnight at Pokhara

Day 06Drive from Pokhara to Bandipur (1,030 m). Overnight stay in hotel at Bandipur After breakfast, we drive from Pokhara to Bandipur,the charming little town, a hill top settlement in Nepal. It is situated at 1,030 m on a mountain saddle, 80 km from Pokhara. It s connected by 8 km access road from Dumre on the Kathmandu Pokhara Highway. Bandipur is the queen of the villages. We can view the spectacular mountain scenery and the river valley made by Marshyangi River. It is the old settlement of Newari people with Newari architectural houses. One can enjoy perfectly peace and scenic atmosphere. The local cultural performance adds an extra flavor on the overnight stay. Overnight at Bandipur

Day 07Drive from Bandipur to Kathmandu, 120 km, takes about 4 hrs. Overnight in Kathmandu After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu which is 120 km from Bandipur. The drive through hilly region with rural scene, terraced farmlands, the streams and Rivers flowing near to the Highway make exciting a lot. Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 08Transfer to the Airport Your trip “Easygoing Honeymoon Tour” ends today with an indelible moments in Nepal. We depart you in the International Airport 3 hours before your scheduled flight.
