People in the Himalayas are professional and trained to make their clients satisfied. The government has been conducting training frequently to the lodge owners of Everest, Annapurna, Langtang and Helambu Region. So, they are very conscious to act being environment friendly.
Lodge owners in the Himalayan region use alternate fuel for cooking and heating. They separate the bio-degradable and non- bio degradable things and manage properly. They have facilitated the visitors for the overnight stay like the dormitory, private rooms, attached bath rooms, shower rooms or the restaurants.
You could enjoy typical Nepalese regional food, continental and others. You can have tea and coffee easily. The food they serve you is fresh and delicious. Only some of you could feel nausea due to altitudes and may lose your appetite. So, we would like to advise you not necessarily to bring more dry food items and to overload the luggage. You are suggested not to consume the alcoholic things if you are ascending more than 4000 m.
