You could fly from wherever you like through International Airlines to be in Nepal. Some of the airline to and from Nepal are Nepal Airlines, Air India, China South West Airlines, Biman Bangladesh, Druk Air, Gulf Air, Thai Airways, Qatar Airways, Pakistan Air, Jet Air,Turkish Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Korean Airlines etc. you like to come by roadways, there are some entry points like Mahendranagar, Bhairahawa, Birgung, Kakarvitta, Dhangadi and Kodari from the Tibet side.
When you arrive in the International Airport in Kathmandu, you arrive just before Immigration where there is Bank with decent exchange rates. You could fill the form for visa, be ready with passport size photograph and your Passport then proceed to the visa counter to get visa if you have not already got it.
Perhaps, you could be in queue for the custom clearance , an hour….the representative from Himkala Adventure will be waiting for you to welcome there outside.
While in your departure, check your International flight beforehand and be in the airport at least two hours early. You are requested get your ticket and your passport ready to show to the security in the entrance. Your luggages are x-rayed and tagged. The security officers inspect physically as well. You can pay the departure tax in the Nabil bank. You can change Nepali currency if you have into US$ there
After Immigration, there is a VAT refund booth and a café. Next there comes another X- ray machine and a manual inspection of luggage before you step ahead to your flight.
