Day 02Sightseeing of World Heritage sites in Kathmandu valley After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing and the first place we go to Swoyambhu, the monkey temple, perched on the top of the conical shaped hill, 77 m high from the ground level. From the hilltop setting, Swayambhunath offers the fine views over Kathmandu and the valley .Atop the soaring swell of the whitewashed dome, a gold-colored square block depicts the watchful eyes of the Buddha, which gaze out across the valley in each direction. There are five different elements from the nature, shown in five different places. After this, we drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square. Most of the interesting things to see in Kathmandu are clustered in the old part of town, focused around the majestic Durbar Square and its surrounding backstreets. The Hindu temples, Kumari House, neo-classical building, Old palaces, Basantapur – the open space for souvenir shops, many courtyards, and the tallest temple – Taleju Bhawani are the charming places to see there. Then we go to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world, situated inside where the houses surrounded it. It is built in Mandala shape or in lotus flower shape. Here is more Tibetan influence. The fourth place we visit is the Shiva temple where we can see the cremation, ritual bathers, people paying annual service to their deceased father or mother, many phallic symbols and half naked Sadhus. Finally, we return back to hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 03Drive from Kathmandu to Kurintar (258 m), 3 hrs. Go to temple by cable car. Back to Kathmandu After breakfast, we drive from Kathmandu to Kurintar, 105 km to the west on the Prithivi Highway. Manakamana is also believed as a wish fulfilling deity. We visit Manakamana temple and surrounding village. Manakamana is the gateway for the Lower Manaslu trekking. It offers the best view of countryside, mountain ranges, and Gorkha Bazaar. The short hiking to the Bakreshwori and the adjacent hills would be really a great fun.
