Show All

Besides many things to see, Nepal shows the great hospitality for any aged group people. The courtesy and the guests treating as a divine figure saying “Atithi Devo Vawa” is in practicality in the culture. There can be variations as we have diversities in topography and the way of dealing but the essentially everything goes heartily.  You will be under caring guidance. It is focused on convenient, fun creating, relaxing, and soft adventurous type of programs so that all the family members will be equally rejoicing the trip.

Family tour, starting from Sundarijal to Chisapani through the Shivapuri National Park would be really exciting and fun creating. Bird watching is a joy in the forests here. The way leads to Nagarkot is to behold the true color of countryside in the Kathmandu valley. Numerous guest houses and hotels with the terraced fields facing towards mountain side is an ideal location to be in your life time with your family members.

The most popular walk goes down from Nagarkot along the ridge to the temple of Changunarayan- with views of Sankhu village to the right and Bhaktapur to the left. Changunarayan temple adorns the top of a serene ridge overlooking the valley from 153 m above the valley floor. The courtyard of Changunarayan is enriched by the priceless Vishnu’s stone images. The temple is just incredible. With such riches cramped into its folds, the Changunarayan temple area may unfold more to your eyes than what you might have expected.

Dhulikhel is 32 km east from Kathmandu and takes 1.5 hours to be there. It is the place having unique combination of Nature and culture. A pleasant day hike from Dhulikhel is a Buddhist pilgrimage site where Lord Buddha in a previous life, sacrificed his body to feed a starving tigress and her cubs.

So, Himkala Adventure has designed the family package tour to offer the realistic, educational things aiming children, youths and the adults in the congenial atmosphere comprising easy walking foothills of the Himalayas, exotic wildlife, exploration of cultural sights, and to have enough fun together.
