Lobuche East Peak lies in the Mahalangur Himalayan Ranges, close to the Khumbu Glacier. There are two main peaks: Lobuche East (6119 m) and Lobuche West (6145 m). Lobuche East Peak Climbing is one of the challenging peaks climbing which is quite conspicuous, with descend into a discernible notch and ascend to the icy slopes in the top.

Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen first attempted in 25 April 1984. The normal route for climbing is through South Ridge. Climbing to the Southern Base Camp at an altitude of 5500 m unfurls the great view of Ama Dablam, Tawache and nearby peaks.
