Company Policy

Down Payment:

We would like you to do 20% down payment to secure your place according to our company policy. If this  is inconvenient, we will be flexible  that you could pay us in our office after your arrival.

Mode of Payment:

You could pay your advance amount to Himkala Adventure Pvt.Ltd the way you like via Bank Transfer, Credit Cards, Western Union Money Transfer.

Payment via Bank Transfer:

You could deposit the amount in our bank account by paying the bank service charge by clients themselves. Our bank details are given below:

Payment of the Balance:

You could pay the rest of the payment after your  arrival in Nepal. If you would like   to pay by credit card, a handling charge of 4 % on the  outstanding balance is made. There is no handling charge for payment by bank transfer.


We accept your LAST MINUTE BOOKING for only in case of Nepal trips, but LAST MINUTE BOOKING will not be acceptable for India, Bhutan and Tibet trips.


The money that you had deposited 20%, will not be refunded if there is trip cancellation due to any other reason. You will get your money back if you have done the full payment but still cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should  be made to cancel any trip.

Supplement Charge:

On our holidays tour/trek packages, rooms or tents are provided in twin sharing basis. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed to client who does not have another tour participant to share room/tent with.

Incomplete Tour:

There will not be the money refunded if you quit the journey  even though there were remaining portions unused according to itinerary.

Unforeseen Circumstances:

If Himkala Adventure Company cancels your trip because of unforeseen circumstances like war, natural disasters, conflict, unfavorable  climate etc. ,we will be happy to refer you alternative trip of a similar standard.  If this does not fit your personal interest, all money paid by you to our company will be refunded  but please remember, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.

Clients’ Responsible:

A tour / trek guide who represents Himkala Adventure Company deserves all authority during your tours. If you commit any unlawful act, you are responsible to leave the tour.

Impact on Your Journey:

We are always trying our level best to facilitate you and make your trip pleasant, but it is must to understand that what you might be accustomed to in the western affluent countries, the Himalayan countries can’t afford such facilities.

Travel Insurance:

You  must purchase comprehensive travel insurance package against medical, natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident risks( to include repatriation costs, lost luggage, emergency emigration), trip cancellation etc. This is strongly suggested to all our clients. please ensure that your insurer is aware of your Himkala Adventure’s itinerary and can have the same opinion to cover the activities being undertaken.30-50% of travelers stateside and abroad become ill or injured during their trip so travel insurance can provide peace of mind. In the event of natural disasters, airline strike or act of intimidation, the cost of your ticket won’t be refunded but travel insurance can cover your cost and help travelers get home securely. Your travel insurance should cover

  • Activity(tour, trek or mountaineering)
  • Maximum altitude reached on trek
  • Helicopter evacuation in an emergency. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate insurance coverage for this trip.
  • repatriation cost
  • medical expenses
  • lost   luggage
  • unexpected travel delays
  • bad weather and emergency emigration

You can have your insurance where you like in your hometown or as you were recommended but you must have your travel insurance.

Tour Amendment:

To make alterations of any trek/trek itinerary, prior notice is required. You’re advised to stay in touch with us but occasionally, you may be obliged to do so  en route under certain circumstance for instance bad weather etc.

Paper and Documents:

All necessary documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, necessary permits etc. We will not be responsible if any trip formality will not be completed in time before the trip departs, simply because you were not able to submit us necessary papers and documents.

Flight Delay/ Cancellation:

In case of delaying or cancellation of flights from Himalayan Regions particularly in Everest Region (Lukla), Jomsom,Dolpa, Simikot,Jumla etc. because of bad weather, your itinerary will be modified.        

Himkala – Helping Orphan/ Street Children:

Himkala Adventure Pvt. Ltd. is always generous to help orphans/street children through the revenue generated by tourism. Any tour/trek that has been organized by Himkala Adventure Pvt. Ltd., goes 5% directly to  help the  betterment of such children in many different places. Recently, we have been looking after the children of “Possible Nepal” in child home at Phutung, Kathmandu, Nepal.
